Our Play Park is open. Planting in our Sensory Garden will start in the Spring but already the benches are in place for a quiet moment of contemplation and to enjoy our spectacular view. Dogs must be kept on leads in our Play Park.

Our dog policy

Only service dogs are allowed inside the Larder. Other dogs are welcome in our outdoor Canopy Cafe. Please read our dog policy.

Public Transport

There is a bus service (201) from Kinross to Glenrothes, which calls at Loch Leven’s Larder. For the latest timetable, visit the Stagecoach Website.

Things to do

If you are looking for activities in the area, you’ll find plenty to do here. We love to walk on the Loch Leven Heritage Trail; following the Outlander trail to nearby Falkland Place and tracing Mary Queen of Scots’ footsteps to Loch Leven Castle but you’ll find even more things to do here.

Directions

We are situated on the North side of Loch Leven, just 10 minutes from the historic town of Kinross and within easy hitting distance from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee. Map and full directions.

Our story

“Lovely locally sourced food to buy plus good food to eat on site and great for kids and dog walkers, right next to the setting of Loch Leven..”

Facebook review 2022

“I’m a frequent visitor to LLL and I absolutely love it. A great place to meet friends and have a catch up with plenty of goodies to choose from. The shop is beautiful too with a great selection of food, drink and goods.”
