Where to find us

The Larder is situated on the North side of Loch Leven, just ten minutes from the historic town of Kinross and within easy hitting distance from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee.

  • Coming from the North, take the B916 from the main St. Andrews road to Stirling (A91)
  • Coming from the East, take the A911 from Scotlandwell
  • Coming from the West, take the B911 from Milnathort or Kinross

Opening Hours

Larder Café, and outdoor Canopy Café (covered and heated) open Monday – Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm (last hot food orders 4:00pm)

Greenhouse Café is open Monday – Sunday  9:00am-4:30pm (last hot food orders 4.00pm)

Lodgehouse – Saturday & Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm (if the weather behaves will open from 10:00am on a Saturday)

Larder Gift Store is open Monday – Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm.

1848 Contemporary gift Store is open Monday – Sunday 10:00am – 5:00pm

Dog Policy

Only service dogs are allowed inside the Larder. Other dogs are welcome in our outdoor areas & outdoor Canopy Cafe (where you will find water bowls and a tap), accessed via the heritage trail at the top of the carpark. Dogs are not permitted in the enclosed play park.

Bike friendly

Public transport

There is a bus service (201) from Kinross to Glenrothes, which calls at Loch Leven’s Larder. For the latest timetable, visit the Stagecoach Website.
