Our butchery counter is changing

As part of our wider brand strategy to run not just a superlative Food Hall, but to also actively champion as many local producers as possible, we will now be running our butchery counter in-house.

This will enable us to showcase local producers such as Puddledub, from the heart of west Fife, Simon Howie ( five miles from Auchterarder and triple award winners in 2019 Great Taste Awards) and The Buffalo Farm (which boasts Scotland’s largest herd of Water Buffalo) more effectively.

We’ll have a full range of sausages, bacon, haggis, burgers, veggie haggis and Lorne sausage as well as breakfast packs and stovies from Simon Howie. Puddledub will be bringing their award-winning bacon, sausages, pork gammon and ham shanks and The Buffalo Farm will be showcasing their amazing burgers, sausages, mince, chicken and haggis bon bons.

We wish Iain, Pamela and the team at Hunters all the very best. You’ll still find Hunters of Kinross meats in our Food Hall—we all love their steak pies & gravy and they are always a big hit with our customers, especially in the colder months.

If you’d like to place a special order, come and have a chat with our Food Hall Manager Emma McCallum or Food Specialist, Werner Kershner.
