Cheese of the Month – Arran Blue

Arran Blue This award winning young blue cheese has quickly established a reputation as one of the best British blues; winning ‘Best Scottish Cheese’ at the 2017-18 World Cheese Awards. Similar in style to the French Blue de Auvern. This cheese is perfect paired with The Fine Cheese Co Walnut Honey & Olive Oil Crackers.

What to Drink  – Fife Gold Beer & Badachro Gin

Fife Gold Beer from St Andrews Brewing Co A beautifully balanced and refreshing ale: straw yellow in colour with a fresh floral aroma backed up with a citrus punch of lemon, lime and grapefruit coming through from a blend of North-West American hops.

Badachro Gin The floral and sweet spirit is from way up in a highland hamlet. Owners Gordon and Vanessa Quinn skilfully infuse the likes of juniper, wild myrtle, coriander, gorse blossom, elderflower, gorse blossom and lavender to name a few. Worth a try? We sure think so.
